The tourist season in Baga is all around the year. You can enjoy the water sports, or just sit back and relax on the beach. You can also visit the famous Portuguese forts at Chapora and Aguada. There are many souvenir shops and shacks on the beachside, and also supermarkets. The Anjuna flea market is close too.
Nightclubs in Baga
Baga and Calangute together make up the party strip of Goa. In fact, the party can often go on till late into the night. Head to one of the nightclubs, Cafe Mambo, and Club Tito, both located in Tito’s Lane.
Mambos – This is one of the most popular nightclubs in Goa, which plays disco and house. Opening hours are from 20:00 to 3:30 in the morning. The entrance fee is 1500 rupees for a couple, 2,000 rupees for single males. Alcohol is included in the price.
Tito’s – This is another big nightclub in Baga. It plays both electronic and Indian Bollywood music. Tito’s stays open from 21:30 to 3:00 in the morning. The entrance fee is 1500 rupees for a couple, alcohol included. There are sometimes costume parties during the weekends.
For food, you can visit the hip Cocktails and Dreams, Cape Town Café, and Cavala for its retro performances. Enjoy Mediterranean and European cuisine, while sitting beside the pool in Fiesta, which is just opposite Tito’s. For authentic Goan cuisine, head to Britto’s. Then there is Go with the Flow, which is tucked away beside the river.
At a short distance away is Relish, which serves delicious Indian food. For shooters and cocktails, you can also go to Cocktails and Dreams. Older people often frequent Cavala for its retro performances.
